A Touchless Tool to Screen for Covid-19 for Reopening Industries

We are running a pilot study to develop a touchless quick screening tool for COVID-19 triaging to help reopening industries. This study is approved by the Biomedical Research Ethics Board of University of Manitoba and funded by Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

Our experiment takes only 5 minutes of your time. We will only need you to download a free app, and record your breathing sounds for about 30 seconds with your own smart phone. Your participation in this study is greatly appreciated.

Volunteers for this study should be those who are going to be tested for COVID-19 fluid swab test or has been tested for COVID in the last few days (up to 4 days) prior to volunteering for this study.  We need a minimum of 200 volunteers.

To volunteer for this study, and/or learn more about the study, please contact Dr. Zahra Moussavi by email:  Zahra.Moussavi@Umanitoba.ca
